Job summary

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care services to our clients in Westland, MI.

As a Home Care Worker, you will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, perform light housekeeping, help with medication reminders, and report any changes to supervisors to ensure safe, respectful care that supports independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation plus.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Help clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure proper care and satisfaction.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client’s condition to supervisors.
