Job summary

Amada Senior Care of Southern Maine is hiring caregivers for daytime shifts across Wells, Kennebunk, Biddeford, Sanford, Portland, South Portland, Scarborough and Falmouth. We value compassion and reliability, and provide paid training and flexible scheduling.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation support, while upholding high standards of care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• RN, LPN, CNA active or expired license, PSS or DSP certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet Maine state requirements for hiring.
• Certificate of completion of a Level VI ESOL.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• A true passion for helping others.
• A commitment to excellence in care and customer service.
• Openness to feedback and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful connections.
• Assist with daily activities, personal care, and daily living tasks.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer medication reminders and transportation support.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
