Job summary

Caring PDX in Portland, OR seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on personal care to seniors and disabled clients in their homes, including help with daily living activities.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medications, light housekeeping, and companionship, following each client’s plan. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

No experience required for training; must be 18+, legally able to work in the USA, and CPR/First Aid certified.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Pass screenings including criminal records and LEIE checks.
• Must have right to work in the USA; caregiver and medication training or current Oregon Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
• Assist with mobility, walking and PT exercises.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Light housekeeping activities.
• Dispense medication as directed.
• Provide companionship.
• Assist with errands and shopping.
