Job summary

Right at Home York is seeking compassionate caregivers in the Shrewsbury area to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. You will help with companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping and personal care in a one-on-one setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• CNA, HHA or PCA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Issue medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance such as helping with walking and transfers.
