Job summary

Senior Helpers (US) is seeking an In-Home Caregiver in Mississippi to support elderly clients at home, helping maintain independence and dignity. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal prep, and light housekeeping while monitoring health changes and coordinating with family and care teams.

The successful candidate demonstrates compassion, reliability, and excellent communication, with prior eldercare experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with elderly clients preferred
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior
