PurposeCare seeks a Home Service Worker to provide compassionate in-home support in Park Ridge, IL. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, prepare meals, and offer social engagement while ensuring safety and dignity.

Role emphasizes communication with families and care teams, documentation of care, and enhancing quality of life through empathetic, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving or a related healthcare support role.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills and basic literacy to document care activities accurately.
• LIVE In-Home Service Worker 4 or 3 days, 12 hour shifts available

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, or errands to support their engagement with the community.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
