Job summary

Senior Helpers in Henderson, NV is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home senior care. You will deliver companionship, assist with daily activities, meal prep, and mobility support, helping clients age comfortably at home.

Candidates should have a driver's license, be able to pass background checks, and commit to ongoing learning. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have driver’s license, valid auto insurance, own reliable transportation, clean driving record.
• 1 year of field experience as a PCA, CNA or Home Health Aide preferred but we will train the right candidates.
• Must pass State and Federal background check & drug screen.
• Must get a current TB and physical prior to beginning work (we are running a hiring bonus to help with costs).
• Must obtain CPR & First aid certifications (We can help with this).
• Must provide 2 personal and 2 professional references.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more.
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery.
