Job summary
One You Love Homecare Greenville is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide essential non-medical assistance in clients’ homes. You will offer companionship, personal care support, help with daily activities, and light housekeeping to help clients maintain independence and dignity.
The role emphasizes adherence to care plans, accurate record keeping, and reliable scheduling to support client safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
- Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus.
- State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
- Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
- Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Remind clients to take medication.
- Clock in/out and document all tasks.
