Job summary

Caretech in Lincoln, NE is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent at home. You’ll assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and support safety in a flexible, friendly environment. No prior caregiving experience?

That’s okay—caretech will provide training, and pay is discussed during the interview based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include weekly pay and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Caretech offers reimbursement).
• Valid Driver's License or State ID.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
• Previous caregiving experience is helpful, but not required.
• Experience with transfers, gait belts or Hoyer lifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Helping with bathing, dressing and personal care.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and getting around safely.
• Preparing meals and helping around the home.
• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Helping clients remain safe and independent at home.
• Offering encouragement, patience and a helping hand.
