Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to seniors, one-on-one, in their own homes. You’ll build relationships, offer social companionship, and assist with daily living tasks while respecting independence and dignity.

This role offers flexible full- or part-time schedules, training, and resources to help you thrive. No healthcare certification is required, but experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus, and a valid

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred.
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Proof of current, negative TB test (as required by the State of Indiana).
• Must be physically able to perform duties, including lifting/pushing/pulling ~25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of license and insurance.
• A compassionate heart for older adults and excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety.
