HomeWell Care Services – Everett, WA is seeking a Caregiver who works under a Care Manager to provide personal care and support services aligned with the client’s needs and HomeWell's standards. The role emphasizes safety, continuity of care, and dignity, and caregivers do not perform nursing duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Washington HCA/CNA/NAC/NAR certification or current enrollment, valid driver’s license, at least one year of caregiving, English communication, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Current Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) or CNA, NAC, NAR certification or currently enrolled in an accredited course.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current physical and/or negative TB test, if applicable.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Minimum of one year of documented caregiving experience.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with clients, families and staff.
• Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
• Genuine empathy for clients; treats clients, families and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
• Willing to travel locally/regionally to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in knowledge in Daily Living ADL and IADL.
• Follow infection control precautions and use equipment properly and safely.
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Promote a safe environment and quality care by following agency policies and procedures.
• Uphold client rights, including privacy, dignity, consent, and confidentiality of information.
