Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Richmond/Glen Allen is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in maintaining safety, comfort, and independence. Roles involve assisting with daily activities, mobility, meals, and companionship in clients' homes.

The position offers flexible schedules, training, and opportunities for overtime and local assignments as available. Prior caregiving is preferred but not required, and applicants should be reliable, empathetic, and communicative.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong desire to help and support others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to care.
• Dependable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and movement within the home.
• Support personal care and hygiene needs.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with daily household routines and activities.
