Job summary

All-American-Home-Care-8 is seeking a Direct Caregiver to provide essential support in clients' homes, focusing on safety, comfort, and dignity. You will help with daily activities and promote independence while coordinating with families and healthcare professionals.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal preparation, and staying connected with clients to ensure well-being. Flexible schedules commonly include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior caregiving experience (preferred but not required).
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA if required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, including transferring and positioning with aids.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Remind about medications where allowed by regulations.
• Perform light housekeeping and tidying living areas.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
• Follow care plans and coordinate with family and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
