Job summary

All Seniors Foundation in California is seeking compassionate Private Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors, assisting with daily activities, safety, and overall well-being. You will deliver one-on-one care in clients' homes and help maintain dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, reliable, and able to work independently with strong communication. High school diploma required; caregiver certification a plus; CPR/First Aid is beneficial; training and support are

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy character.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergencies.
• Physical capability to assist with mobility, transfers, and light lifting.
• Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer’s care techniques is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, uplifting attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Offer companionship through conversation, reading, games, or other enriching activities.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques to ensure safety.
• Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as required.
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
