Job summary

Loving Hands Home Care Agency in Lansing, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients at home. You’ll assist with daily activities, ensure dignity, independence, and quality of life, and coordinate with families.

Hours are 8 am–4 pm or 4 pm–12 am. Requires valid driver’s license, reliable daily transportation, and prior healthcare or in-home care experience. Training available for Hoyer lifts and catheterization as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Comfortable driving client’s van and transporting them.
• Non-smoker with no long or acrylic nails.
• Willing to train in Hoyer lift and catheterization as needed.
• Enjoy one-on-one client work and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and basic daily living tasks.
• Assist with medication reminders and mobility.
• Support mobility for doctor visits and activities.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform housekeeping and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
