Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeping Companion to assist a woman in Marshfield. The role involves working one‑on‑one with the client to support her daily activities and maintain her home environment.

Hours & Pay

Tuesdays and Thursdays (some flexibility). 3–4½ hours per day, up to 9 hours per week. Preferred time: 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Additional hours may be available as needed. Wage: $15.54–$16.32 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall household cleaning and organization
• Dishes and laundry
• Medical appointment attendance (including driving the client’s vehicle)
• Put away groceries
• Cooking and meal preparation as requested by the client

Qualifications

• Understanding of individuals with memory impairments and mental health conditions
• Patient, understanding, and non‑argumentative
• Non‑directive, listening to client’s wishes
• Willing to listen to how the client prefers tasks to be done
• Willing to ask questions
• Honest, trustworthy, fun, motivational, consistent, and reliable
• Pet‑friendly to cats and dogs
• Valid driver’s license with insurance
• Favorable background check
