Job summary

Visiting Angels of Jackson is hiring In Home Patient Care Assistants to support clients across the local area with personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. Shifts include Full Time, Part Time, 8, 10, 12 hour options, and PRN.

You will follow care plans, report health changes, and help clients stay safe at home. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with shopping trips and accompany clients.
• Ensure clients take medications as prescribed.
