Visiting Angels Midtown is urgently hiring a Home Care Aide (HCA) to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and disabled individuals in the Sacramento area. Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, and supporting clients to remain in their own homes.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, shifts of 8 or 10 hours, pay between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits after 90 days, plus bonuses for referrals and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in-home care (professional or private).
• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US.
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills - bilingual and multilingual caregivers welcomed.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting.
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days.
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Be compassionate, understanding, flexible, and have a true desire to help others.
