Job summary

University Home Care Inc in Dearborn Heights, MI is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team. You will provide in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, monitoring health, and offering companionship. Applicants should have prior home care experience, pass background checks, be able to perform

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care or related field preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
Ability to pass background checks.
Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility, including transferring and walking.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.
Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Follow care plans and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
