Visiting Angels of Webster Groves is seeking caring in-home Personal Aides to support clients throughout the St. Louis area. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and transportation while providing companionship and wellness support per care plans.

Advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is offered for caregivers seeking to broaden skills, with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth within the nation’s #1 network for at-home care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
First Aid training and emergency response required.
Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
Reliable transportation to client homes.
Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards.
Bring compassion, understanding and a desire to brighten clients day.

Responsibilities

Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.
Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks.
Planning and preparing meals with clients.
Handling light housekeeping duties.
Reporting health changes or unusual incidents.
Providing pleasant, supportive companionship.
Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips.
Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.
