Job summary

A skilled nursing facility in Florida is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Aide / Laundry Aide. The role involves performing housekeeping and laundry responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents. Ideal candidates will lift up to 30 lbs and maintain the facility's cleanliness. Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a maximum of 30# and frequently lift 20#.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry tasks is preferred.
• Must be able to attend mandatory in-services and department meetings.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility free from dust, dirt, odors, and clutter.
• Vacuum carpeted areas daily.
• Sweep and wet mop floors daily; buff floors as needed.
• Clean bathrooms daily including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.

Skills

Knowledge of housekeeping tasks

Knowledge of laundry tasks

Ability to lift weights

Standing or walking for long periods

Ability to bend, squat, and twist
