Job summary

NHC Place at Cool Springs is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to keep patient rooms and common areas clean and welcoming. You’ll handle laundry, follow schedules, and support the team with overall housekeeping duties in a healthcare setting.

We value a kind, respectful attitude toward patients, families, and coworkers, with ability to read and follow English instructions and work on your feet for 7–8 hours. Benefits include insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Able to stand 7-8 hours and lift heavy items.
• Experience using cleaning or laundry equipment is a plus.
• Kind, respectful attitude toward patients, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms and bathrooms clean and welcoming.
• Maintain common areas such as hallways, walls, furniture, and equipment.
• Collect and process laundry (wash, dry, fold, store).
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines.
• Support the team with other housekeeping or laundry duties.
