Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a housekeeping role.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, offices, hallways and other areas inside the facility and on the property.
• Cleans vents, fixtures, top of windows, doorframes and other high areas using a ladder.
• Performs terminal cleaning and prepares rooms for new occupants; follows isolation procedures when cleaning isolation rooms.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety precautions at all times.
• Reports hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the supervisor.
• Maintains resident privacy and dignity and interacts with warmth and respect.
• Responds promptly to call lights in care areas.
• Communicates effectively with Residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services as directed.
