Job summary

Annandale Village is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living and community spaces for Villagers. You will perform routine and specialized housekeeping duties while following infection prevention and safety practices to support health and dignity.

Responsibilities include cleaning living spaces, common areas, and offices, while respecting Villagers' privacy and preferences. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures across campus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely use housekeeping equipment, cleaning products, and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or similar experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing respectful and dependable service within a person-centered community.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties in assigned areas throughout Annandale Village.
• Clean, sanitize, disinfect, and maintain Villager living spaces, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Clean and care for furnishings, fixtures, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, and other surfaces using appropriate products, equipment, and procedures.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and ensure responsibilities are completed thoroughly and timely.
• Help maintain spaces that are clean, comfortable, attractive, and welcoming for Villagers, employees, families, and visitors.
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities with respect for Villager privacy, preferences, personal belongings, and living spaces.
• Treat Villagers with kindness, dignity, and respect during every interaction.
• Protect Villager confidentiality and uphold Villager rights.
• Be mindful that Villager living spaces are their homes and provide services in a respectful and person-centered manner.
