Wingate Living, a New Independent Living Community in MA, is hiring a Housekeeper. The role involves daily cleaning of resident apartments and common spaces to maintain a welcoming, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred in healthcare, hospitality, or senior living.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and infection control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces.
• Clean and disinfect resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas per schedule.
• Change bed linens and replenish towels and supplies.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and report malfunctions.
• Properly handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals per safety standards.
• Assist with laundry services as required (washing, drying, folding).
• Remove trash and recyclables from apartments and community areas.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
