Job summary

Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland, CA is hiring a Housekeeper for full-time and on-call shifts. You will ensure pristine resident accommodations and shared spaces while delivering excellent customer service to our senior residents.

We value an upbeat, friendly personality, strong communication, and a willingness to perform related duties as needed. Must be 18+, background checks apply, CPR/First Aid may be required per state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age at time of start.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in senior living or hospitality is not required but welcome.
• Upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background check and screenings as required by state/local guidelines.
• Background check and drug screen may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fantastic customer service to residents and keep their accommodations and shared spaces clean.
• Assist with laundry services occasionally as needed.
• Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat, organized, and filled.
• Keep equipment maintained, up to date, and in good working condition.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to our residents and perform other duties as assigned.
