Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with floor-care equipment preferred.
• Able to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
• Regular, predictable attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms, living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and basins.
• Dust-mop, wet-mop, or spot-mop floors.
• Strip, seal, wax and/or buff floors as needed.
• Vacuum, extract and/or shampoo carpets as needed.
• Wash and dry windows using cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Strip and dispose of spoiled linens; replace with fresh linens and make beds.
• Report repair needs to supervisor or maintenance.
