Job summary

Diocese of Allentown's Secretariat for Clergy requests a Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of Holy Family Villa, including residents' suites and bathrooms, with daily cleaning and regular care of common areas such as porches and patio.

Responsibilities include laundry for residents, dusting, cleaning, sanitizing, and replenishing supplies, plus adherence to safety practices in a personal care environment. Both full-time and part-time options are available with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in cleaning in a personal care environment preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident suites and bathrooms daily.
• Clean common areas, porches, and patio on schedule.
• Handle laundry of residents.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Restock supplies and report repairs.
• Assist in disaster drills and training.
• Maintain altar linens and vestments (if applicable).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
