Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeper/Aide to provide cleaning services in our Michigan facilities, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role supports housekeeping activities in line with state and federal regulations and facility policies to maintain quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas daily, safe waste disposal, and assisting with laundry as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Disposes of trash and waste per facility policies and procedures.
• Posts signs to indicate safety hazards during housekeeping activities.
• Comply with safety instructions when using chemical substances and refer to MSDS.
• Cross train in Laundry and assist as needed.
