Job summary

The Summit of Winter Garden is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in common areas and resident rooms in a senior living community. The role requires following procedures, a caring attitude toward residents, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitation, safety compliance, and assisting in resident care tasks as directed by supervision. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Dust walls, vents, handrails, ceilings, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum, spot clean carpets, shampoo as directed; clean sofa/chairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock towels, toilet paper and soap.
• Maintain safe handling of chemicals and locked carts/storage rooms.
• Follow infection control procedures and report safety hazards.
• Assist residents with tasks and communicate changes to supervisor.
