Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred, especially in a healthcare or assisted living environment.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and SDS guidelines.
• Physical ability: lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings required by DHS 83 and DHS 89.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications as needed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas, including: deep cleans, carpet vacuuming or shampooing, mopping and sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms and common areas.
• Launder and maintain community linens.
• Follow safety protocols, infection control procedures, and sanitation standards; use chemicals per SDS.
• Wear PPE when handling chemicals or cleaning high-risk areas.
• Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
