Silver Birch of Mishawaka is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team. You’ll help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents who call it home.

In this role, you’ll follow daily cleaning schedules, respect resident privacy, and use cleaning supplies and procedures safely. We offer paid time off, health insurance, growth opportunities, and a caring, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is helpful.
• Housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Dependable with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain community areas such as hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, and resident rooms.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks each shift.
• Respect resident privacy, always knocking before entering rooms.
• Use cleaning supplies safely and follow proper procedures for chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish to keep spaces neat and sanitary.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and light fixtures.
• Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
• Collect and deliver resident laundry in a timely manner.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies at the end of your shift
