Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hospital team in Abilene, TX. The role provides direct patient care under RN/physician supervision, with focus on safety, comfort and high-quality care.

The LPN will perform assessments, administer treatments, document findings in the EHR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth admissions, discharges and transfers. BLS certification and 1+ year hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in the State of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
