Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly housekeeping team member for the St. James Place Retirement Community in the Baton Rouge area. The role focuses on providing a clean, safe hospital environment and delivering compassionate service to patients and staff throughout daily shifts.

The position is full-time, with an hourly rate of $13, and includes standard benefits. Applicants must pass background checks and drug screens, and may be required to meet additional employment eligibility criteria.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective English communication and ability to work in a team.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
