Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• HeartSaver AED knowledge or certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to hospice patients and assists with activities of daily living.
• Records vital signs, reports changes to the RN Case Manager, and maintains infection control.
• Supports patient hygiene, transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities as prescribed.
• Documents treatments and patient progress; offers emotional support to patient and family.
• Assists with orientation of new staff and participates in in-service trainings.
