Job summary

Liberty Hospice in Lumberton, NC is seeking an experienced Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate direct patient care and help manage comfort for patients at home or in care settings. You will document care provided and coordinate with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Board of Nursing approved training and competency evaluation program required.
• Current listing with the Division of Facility Services Registry required.
• One year of patient care and record-keeping experience in an acute care or custodial setting required.
• Documentation of at least 75 certified education hours required.
• Ability to independently organize work and document care thoroughly and timely.
• Willingness to travel and accept assigned working conditions.
• CPR certification and strong oral/written communication skills required.
• Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.
