Job summary

Spring Valley Hospice in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a dedicated Hospice CNA to provide compassionate, person-centered care at the bedside. This role focuses on dignity, comfort, and support for patients and families in a hospice setting.

The CNA will perform daily living activities, monitor health changes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality end-of-life care. A minimum of six months’ experience and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of caregiving experience or more, including personal care.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Comfort with hospice philosophy and caring for terminally ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility, hygiene).
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM, and safe equipment use.
• Assist with medication administration per state regulations.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean space.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.
