Job summary

Prisma Health's Hospice of the Foothills in Upstate South Carolina seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and comfort to terminally ill patients in their homes or at Cottingham Hospice House, following the plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing basic housekeeping to promote hygiene, safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program is required.
• CNA certification (NCNA) is required.
• SC driver’s license (LSCD) is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and report changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform basic housekeeping to promote hygiene, safety, and comfort.
