Job summary

By The Bay Health in Sonoma, California is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients. Schedule is five days a week including weekends, 7:00am - 3:30pm, with home-based hospice care across our service area.

The role requires completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program, an active HHA license, and a valid California driver’s license. Pay range is $26.30–$31.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE.
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
