Job summary

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, at-home care to patients and support their families. You will collaborate with a hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while upholding the patient’s dignity and comfort.

Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant status with CPR certification; licensure rules vary by state, with flexibility for eligible non-licensure states.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• In states where licensure is not required, must be already licensed/certified or have completed state-approved nurse aide training with 24 months continuous employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
• Enhance the quality of someone’s life every day.
