Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking compassionate Homemaker Companion Caregivers in Avon, CT. You will provide non-medical care and companionship, helping clients with daily activities and ensuring safety and comfort in their homes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must have Cell Phone/Tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and clean up.
