Job summary

Inspired Home Care is rapidly expanding and hiring PRN and Part Time Home Care RNs to manage their own caseload, visiting patients in their homes across ages and backgrounds who require intermittent skilled care.

You will assess patients, document observations, perform vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, and coordinate with therapists and physicians to deliver comprehensive home health care.

Qualifications

• State RN license required.
• 1 year in-home care experience.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Ability to travel to multiple patients per day.
• Preferred knowledge of WellSky Kinnser.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart observations.
• Perform vital signs, medication review, Oasis assessment, wound care and IV therapy.
• Dress or re-dress open wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physicians and others involved in the care plan.
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life.
• Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests.
