Job summary

Gail's Homecare in Georgia is seeking a compassionate, reliable CNA to join our in-home care team. You will assist clients with basic personal care in their homes and help with domestic tasks, following each client’s care plan with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of full-time healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Home healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• At least 8 hours of personal care-related training annually.
• Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision.
• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work.
• Physically able to lift and transfer clients.
• Patient, calm, and compassionate in stressful situations.
• Willing to perform personal care and household tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Warm, caring personality; commitment to client dignity.
• Willingness to comply with legal and agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed.
• Provide compassionate care and assistance and document progress.
• Follow care plans accurately and report changes to supervisors.
