Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services as needed to meet the patient’s needs. The role offers competitive pay with weekly paychecks and a benefits package including health/dental/vision and 401(k).

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, taking vital signs when ordered, safe transfers, and recording observations. Strong communication with clients, families, and the supervising nurse is essential.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state and federal laws.
• CPR certification current and maintained.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Meets all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient according to plan of care with basic activities and personal care.
• Baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding and related tasks.
• Take and record vital signs as ordered (temp, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Safe transfer and ambulation; follow plan of care and competency guidance.
• Observe patient condition and report changes to the nurse supervisor.
