Job summary
Visiting Angels Baytown is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide - HHA to support local seniors in Baytown and nearby communities such as Liberty, Dayton, Crosby and Channelview. You will be part of a caring team committed to meaningful community service.
Responsibilities include medication assistance, mobility support, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and safe transportation. The role offers training in dementia care and Alzheimer’s care, plus a benefits package with
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping others and providing quality care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a home-care setting.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene and client comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with prescribed medications as directed by caregivers.
- Aid with ambulation and mobility within the home or to appointments.
- Provide personal care and hygiene support.
- Assist with routine exercises and daily activities.
- Plan and prepare meals with client input when possible.
- Run small errands or accompany clients to shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Report unusual incidents promptly.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
