Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor condition, and coordinate basic care tasks to help clients maintain independence and dignity.

The role involves health monitoring, light housekeeping, transportation assistance, and collaboration with caregivers, nurses and family members. Training and an equal opportunity workplace are provided.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will need a current TB
• You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Observe and report on each client’s condition
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures
