BrightStar Care - Cuyahoga West is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care across Westside Cuyahoga County and surrounding communities. Enjoy flexible schedules, steady client assignments, and opportunities for advancement.

Roles include full-time, part-time, PRN, weekday, weekend, and 12-hour shifts. You'll assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and companionship, with RN oversight to support quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum one year of caregiving or direct care experience preferred.
• HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following client care plans.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency protocols.
