Job summary

Visiting Angels Longview is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to support seniors across East Texas, including Avinger, Longview, and nearby communities. You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, and transportation, while providing compassionate companionship and reliable care.

Dementia/Alzheimer's care training is available, with flexible shifts (Full Time, Part Time, 8/10/12 hour, PRN).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
