Job summary
Visiting Angels Auburn & Gilford NH is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and support residents with personal care.
The role involves driving to clients, lifting up to 25 lbs, and using a smartphone for clock-in and documentation. CNA/LNA certification and dementia experience are a plus. Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts available.
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
- Experience caring for seniors or disabled adults preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active car insurance required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in and documentation.
- CNA/LNA certification and dementia experience are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Medication reminders.
- Run errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
