Job summary

Working Nurses Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team. You will work directly with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan with compassion and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills are essential, and prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, promoting independence per the care plan, and maintaining accurate care records while reporting changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of prior professional experience is preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Help the client maintain good personal hygiene and a healthful, safe environment.
• Encourage independence according to the care plan.
• Maintain records of patient care and report observations to the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Promptly report any change in client condition to the supervisor.
